Adapt

  • Design & Art Direction.

  • The Graphic Design Class of 2020 from the University of Lincoln, were given the word ‘adapt’ at the beginning of the week and told to respond in anyway we want, as long as we didn’t visually use the word adapt and it had to be grayscale.

Each sphere illustrates a month during 2020 and represents how I was feeling at that time - with March being the worst, for obvious reasons. The image shows my fluctuating moods where I’ve learnt to adapt to the unpredictability of the ‘new norm’. The mood of the last three spheres are yet to be decided. Only time will tell. The grain, movement and depth within the image has been inspired by photographs documenting the Spanish Influenza 1918, that have recently been wide spread across social media.
