Kicks Scan Series is a personal side-project that began in 2021, designed to put my expensive hobby of collecting shoes to another good use.

Using a scanner, although an unusual choice for photography, has proven to be an interesting way to capture a pair of shoes. It allows me to highlight my favourite parts of a shoe with the depth of field; the double tag on the Nike x Sacai Vapourwaffle or the Lot Number on the Off-White x Nike Dunks.

The dream would be to use the scanning technique as an art direction style for a future sneaker campaign.
